President’s Race

We went to the Nationals’ game today. They played the Phillies. I thought that the stadium would be nearly empty on a Sunday morning with 90-degree heat. I was so wrong! I think a third of the seats were filled with Philly fans. A ton of people must have driven down for the game. It was a painful loss for the Nats, especially since they kept coming back. Their new players look good.
The President’s Race in the fourth inning was a three-way tie. Poor Tom face-planted at the beginning of the race and never got back up.
