A brief update. I got my camera at last, it is just a little Canon Power Shot 510. I have had it just over a year and love it, I take it everywhere, in fact if I lift it all the dogs run to the dog and get very excited as they think we are off looking for a photo. I don't have a lot of time as between visiting my husband in the care home, I have a big garden to take care of, and I do a little dog grooming. Since my husband went into care a year and a half ago I can now get up early (which I love) and head out with the dogs to see
what we can see. Living on my own is fine but it is a worry also as lots of things need to be done, that my husband would have done, also I have to worry about anything going wrong with my health as I have four dogs, but so far I am more than healthy. Well that is about it, except to say how lovely everyone is on blip and I never feel alone, in fact I feel you are all my friends that I hear from every day.
I have three sons, one in the Police, one a photographer and one who works in a big furniture store.
Thank you for your lovely friendship.x

Well I think it is time for a little update. Things have now changed as my dear husband of 54years died in September. He had Alzheimers, which I must say is (I think), the most terrible illness you could have. This will be my first Christmas without him, although he was in a care home for four years. For about the last three years he knew nobody only me, but it was a comfort that he did know me.
I recently treated myself to a new camera, it is still a ridge camera, as I have to have something small as wherever I go looking for a blip I have my two little dogs with me. As you all know by now I love sunrises, sunsets and of course wildlife. Sometimes it is hard getting a blip as I only take photos around my home.
I would love to thank all my wonderful blip friends for being there for me when I needed them over the last four years, I don't know what I would have done without you. You are such a fantastic group  and I love you all.
I also have my two great little companions, who are always there for me.
Looking forward to new year and seeing all your super blips.
It is now 2nd June 2019, and yesterday I reached 2,000 blips, so have changed my photo, it is taken at the mirror in my garden. Not much has happened since the last update, but I just wanted to once again thank you all for being such wonderful friends and helping me on my road to living alone (with the dogs). I never thought when I joined Blip that I would stick with it, but, hey ho, I have, and have loved every minute of it. I have learnt a lot from you all. I started off for the first year with my IPhone and now have my bridge camera. It is hard to find something to blip every day as I only go three different walks, but I find that very exciting, and also makes you look and notice the wild life around you. Thank you all once again.x
