Having just completed my first year on blip thought I'd add something to my profile.
I started blip thanks to John Gravett , like many others who have attended LPH workshops. Having started of with an interest in landscape and travel photography my photographic interests have changed over the year . I'm now taking photos of all sorts of things that I never would have before and I find I'm far more aware of my surroundings.  Its been great looking at other blippers photos not only to see far away lands but also whats available on my doorstep. I've also been inspired by and pinched many an idea from other blippers.
A comment on my 365th blip suggested that 'drips' may be my signature photo. This gave me the idea to use this drip (which reminds me of a woman rushing along) as my avatar. Blip does take up a lot of time so I'm always in a rush nowadays. Besides I don't like 'selfies' although there is one hidden away in my journal.
My initial aim was to blip daily for the first year but Blip is rather addictive and I don't think I can now go to blipping on an occasional basis. I will however have to spend less time on it so may be less fussy with what I put on. For the next year I'd like to try out some more street photography but I'm sure there will  still be a lot of flowers, ducks from down the river and the odd drip or two!
