Back to back

it's a while since I did any 'street' photography so tried to take some people shots over the park rather than the ducks. There are lots of benches, some very close to this spot but this couple decided to perch on an old tree trunk instead. I wondered if they were together but not talking or just happened upon the same spot. 
I've just booked a speaker for our photo club talking on 'A 100 strangers project' about taking portraits after asking people on the street. Today there were so many using the park that I wondered about doing a '100 people in the park' series. Only problem is I'm not sure if I'd have the courage to ask them for a portrait shot.
