Originally from a small town in Saskatchewan but I also lived in Ontario for a few years. I spent my entire grade 12 in the high school dark room. After that I went on to get a graphic design certificate in college at NAIT in Edmonton. I worked as a photolab technician for a few years, then as a commissioned sales associate, selling cameras. I taught camera lessons for two years and taught English in Japan in 2010. I am now teaching photography, shooting portraits and managing a Photography store in Banff. I did a Photo a Day Challenge a few years ago and decided to do it again! It was one of the most difficult things I have ever done. It challenged my photography and creativity daily. I take pictures of anything that catches my eye, flowers, landscapes and portraits. I also did a lot of traveling around Japan and Tokyo so I also took a lot of pictures of monuments, temples and shrines. Photography is my passion and a huge part of my life.
