Tangle Tower is a wonderful old building based in South Kessock, Inverness, the heart of the Highlands. It looks onto the Moray Firth across to the Kessock Bridge, the views are truly amazing! We often take our lunch on the top floor, watching seals, dolphins and birds feeding and playing.
It was used as a look-out post during the second World War, before this was a coastguards property, with a boat being housed on the ground floor!
We are currently renovating this historical building and have managed to keep many of the original features.
We are also hunting for stories linked to this place, given its age there must be many! If you have a story, please leave a comment. We look forward to hearing from you :)
