From my early childhood days in Malaysia I have always enjoyed the natural outdoor world, with its rich tropical fauna and flora. Living my adult life in New Zealand, I have developed a love of photography, and my two passions go well together. Photography gives me another dimension to the outdoor experience and allows me to see the beauty in the world we live in.

I am a structural engineer, and have run my own one man business since 1996. After the Christchurch earthquakes of 2010 -2011 we moved to Auckland to escape the soul destroying bureaucracy of the ensuing insurance debacles. As it turns out I retained my Christchurch client base even though I lived in Auckland.....the internet and cellular network are wonderful things! 

As time moves on we have become even more nomadic - with family in Utah, USA, we now split our time between NZ and USA, following the seasons haphazardly, sometimes chasing summer, sometimes chasing winter. Close to retirement, but still working for now !!
