I am mother of three kids and free-lance translator, taking pictures and managing to play with the Saint Petersburg Orchestra of Improvisation once or twice a month and sometimes on other occasions (with other musicians or just on my own).
Originally I am from Germany. Came to Saint Petersburg to stay for 5 months...in 1998.... Now it's been 15 years I came here. I am married to photographer Igor Lebedev. No, it's not because of him I decided to stay in Russia. Probably life brought us together after I was sure I want to stay in Saint Petersburg....

After starting to load up blips regularly I decided that I want to show a bit from our everyday life in Saint Petersburg, Russia (and not only), in a more positive way as mass media normally do. That doesn't mean that I close my eyes to difficulties and problems we have here, I just don't want to talk about that too much, as you can find that often enough when reading-watching the news. Russia is a great country anyway, and life is often very different from my former life in Germany. I am very glad that some of you - from all other the world - enjoy my pictures and little stories. Many thanks for comments and stars and hearts.... :))

January 2013 - some backdated blips with real white snowy Russian Winter.
From 26.6. the girls and me were in Kacha, Crimea, a little village not far from Sevastopol on holiday.
From 21.7. till 29.7. we were in Nauchnyy (also Crimea).
Back to Saint Petersburg since 31.08.
In Ingolstadt, Bavaria from 2.10. - 15.10. visiting my parents.
Off to India (Dharmasala (North India) and Arambol, Goa) till 14.11.
