I make my home in a small village at latitude 62 in southcentral Alaska. I forage and craft wild plants, have a job writing and researching rooting through the Internet, and have been hired by the borough to be an EMT.

Life is suddenly different living without pets for the first time in 18 years. I am sure that will not last for long. A shiny new girl named Sage has joined us! My resolution is to get back to blipping this year.

I enjoy browsing photos of daily life as well as collecting my own. I have studied photography but prefer taking impromptu shots, which means they aren't artsy but usually somewhat sentimental.
