I was an enthusiastic photographer in the late 70's/early 80's, filling film cassettes, taking photos, processing, developing contact prints and final pictures.  Work and a lack of darkroom facilities conspired and I lost interest.

The digital image revolution is often criticised for its compromise of the "real" photographic experience but without it I would not of been prepared to start capturing light again.
