A bit of fun

Sometimes inspiration for a blip comes from the weirdest places. For this one, I don't even know where it came from. While loading the dishwasher, the following pieces of information somehow came together:

1. I remembered my blip drip blip and realized I should have used a flash.

2. I remembered this blip from Donders and his explanation about how drops of water on a DVD would just 'stick'.

Then some items on the sink came to help: a plastic cup with a smile on it and a tangerine. Add a drop of water and a compact camera set to macro mode et voila...

Did I say tangerine? Yep. I put the CD on top of it so I could see the smile in the water drop...
