Break in the routine

Remember this two days ago? This crash barrier is on the same stretch of road, and I'm thinking that someone has swerved quite dramatically in order to avoid the very large hole in the middle of the road caused by the burst water main. People are so used to driving fast down this one-way road that I can quite believe that a driver would have been surprised by the sudden appearance of a 'Road closed' sign and a very large hole.

Day 2 in the new office: I can't believe the efficiency of the little people in this large company. The post office guy is amazingly helpful, and the free canteen continues to delight each and every one of us. Hooray!
