Dreaming spires

Hedonistic day, after a dodgy start. Couldn't sleep so it was 'nursery' food - milk and biscuits at 3 a.m.! It worked.

The rest of the day - swim, Diana for abilities report (chuffed to find I have them but now I see I passed up the 'right' job for me), Chamomile for massage, M & S for - well what is M & S famous for? The Sheraton for Book Group. 'One Day, by David Nicholls. Mixed reviews, overall 7.6. The film, some of it shot in Edinburgh, is coming out later this year.

The nights are fair drawing out - here in Edinburgh it's light till after 6. Walking along Princes Street the sky was orange over the spires of St John's, St George's West and St Mary's Cathedral.
