The Lion and The Unicorn

WANTED: one sun, last seen striking the crest above the Custom House this morning.

This is such a grand-looking building - and it'd be great to see it become the Museum of Leith, instead of just a storage facility for the National Museum.

I just found the story behind the Lion and Unicorn crest here. But now that I know, I'm still not sure I fully understand the nursery rhyme:

The lion and the unicorn were fighting for the crown
The lion beat the unicorn all around the town
Some gave them white bread, and some gave them brown
Some gave them plum cake and drummed them out of town

I get the bit about the fighting, but I'm not sure about the dietary stuff...
