Pickled

In my desperation to show something relating to the weekly challenge here are a fine pair of pickled onions. An odd combination of colours and subject but its all I have. I was going to shoot a tomato but I didn't want to kick off the old is it a fruit or vegetable debate :)

I used to love picked onions. I then moved onto pickled onion flavour Munster Munch and haven't had them for years. I saw a jar on offer in the local supermarket so I thought I'd go for it. Very nice they are but the kids keep asking me what that smell is!

The house is quiet. Alana is on a Brownie activity weekend and we certainly know she is not around. All missing her very much but she will be back tomorrow :)
