Flat City Blues

The light is flat and the land is flat. When the sun shows through to rise and shine and set the show is phenomenal. Today came out in monochrome.

Tomorrow we leave for a short vacation to British Columbia. It's cloudy there too but we'll be near the ocean and the temperatures should be above freezing. There's a hot tub and a fireplace and maybe there will be early spring flowers. I suspect that there isn't internet at the lodge so I'm leaving the laptop at home.
