Black Ops

Took a pleasant trip down to Southsea and Gunwharf Quays this afternoon.
As we were walking between Clarence Pier and Gunwharf on the Millenium walk, this guy floated out of the harbour.
This is HMS Hurworth (M39). A Hunt-class mine countermeasure vessel (MCMV) of the Royal Navy.

It was a beautiful sunny day with not a single cloud in sight and we enjoyed our walk in the fantastic fresh sea air, followed by coffee and a slice of cake underneath the Spinnaker Tower.
