Victoria

A short visit to the centre of the universe today, or, as those of us who don't live there call it, London.
Took advantage of the beautiful weather to walk from Waterloo station over the Thames and into Trafalgar Square. Lots of tourists and visitors enjoying the sights including the now infamous Omega 2012 Olympic countdown clock, which is still only half working. One side reads correctly, the opposite tells us there are 529 days to go. Nobody seemed to mind though, and we took it in turns to queue patiently to take our own pictures. NOT!

Anyway, a short walk under Admiralty Arch and onto The Mall where I took this shot of The Victoria Monument and Buckingham Palace.

A pleasant afternoon.
