Whodunit

A murder has been committed.

Somebody pulled up the Striped Blue Freesia, dismembered it and strewed around all the body parts.

There are two prime suspects. Was it Rabbit? Or was it Javelina? Rabbit would have just eaten the top of the plant. Javelina, a rather primitive character, would have probably spilled or broken the pot. But since the pot was in a tricycle plant holder, who would have been tall enough to commit this dastardly deed? And who would make such a mess without eating the victim? Perhaps it was the Butler.

We need a detective to help solve this crime. Please comment with your analysis of this foul act and we will strive for consensus in hopes of finding the culprit.

Postlude: The crime scene has been cleaned up, the plant has been repotted and moved to the fenced back yard where it will be safe from the Javelina, but not the Rabbit.
