So often with these blips I find myself trying to reduce the world to geometry. I think it stems from the way I put my paintings together. They are nearly always geometrically composed- behind whatever imagery they outwardly project there are variations on squares and rectangles and so on. I have this idea that the subject is almost unimportant, that pretty much anything should make a decent photo if attention goes into its composition.
