Living statue takes a break

This living statue of Charlie Chaplin always draws big crowds on Gentleman's Walk. As I walked down from Hay Hill I saw Charlie with his back to me and heard that blipper's whisper: take me, take me. And so I did.

What fascinates me about this photo is that it's not immediately clear whether it's black and white or colour. It's colour. And also what's not clear to me, no matter how many times I see Charlie, is whether the statue is - in reality - a man or a woman.
