Stopped

This grandfather clock has stood in my parents hallway forever. My bedroom was at the front of the house and I remember listening to the tick tock when laying in bed. It always struck at 5 minutes to the hour. It was wound up once a week and was decorated with holly at Christmas times. Part of our family really.

Unfortunately it stopped working a few years ago and sadly Mum can't find anyone locally who can repair it. Still, twice a day it tells the right time.
