Training

Today I spent the day on a photograph training course in Edinburgh run by Paul from Copper Mango.

The course covered everything from the 3 key aspects of photography of aperture, shutter speed and ISO to white balance, composition and equipment.

A very helpful and knowledge trainer along with a great bunch of people made this an enjoyable and educational day.

I have uploaded some of the photos taken during the practicals here however be warned they are experimental in terms of the settings being used to help learn how changing one of the 3 main settings impacts the other two. Click HERE

I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to get to grips better with their camera or for anyone who just wants to be made to think about which settings they use and why.

This photo was during the depth of field section and also how to use the histogram viewer on the camera to ensure a good distribution of light is achieved, this has had no enhancing made to it and is straight out the camera, not something I usually do!
