Jewels

The work of a cobweb spider in the Viburnum plicatum.

Another misty moisty morning.  There were jewels all over my garden.  I spent an hour wandering around taking photos of them.

The conditions make it difficult for the orbweb spiders to build their intricate webs.  I found several abandoned at the skeletal stage.  They are beautiful in their own right.  Here's one, if you are interested.
