Prettier Than A Pitt's Portrait

I know that in Britain these built over windows are called Pitt's Portraits but they don't have a name here (or at least not that I can find out). I wonder if there was a window tax here at some point? Oh and I believe that the phrase "daylight robbery" originates from opposition to the window tax. Anyway, I like the design on this.

Today was the Sprachschule for a trial lesson. I sat in with a class who I was told were Advanced and would be finishing their Integration course in a few months. It was easier than I thought - I wasn't far behind but I do need to work on verbs and grammar. I enjoyed it a lot. I better, I've signed up for a course starting next Monday. It's 3 nights a week and each lesson is 3 hours. I need to buy a new attention span. Squirrel!
