Arizona Dreamin’

Damn! Another Sunny Day

It's only mid-March, but Spring has arrived in southern Arizona.  The temperatures have been in the eighties for about ten days or so and we will be flirting with ninety today and the next couple.  It is said that it will become more seasonal (72-ish) over the weekend, but that may be only temporary.

Our water-year began in October and we should have had over four inches by now.  We're almost three below that.  So while the view is gorgeous, it belies what is actually happening with our climate.

Unusually warm and dry.  The same could be said since I became aware of the situation when I moved here four years ago.

It's sunny virtually every day in Arizona, but we do need more rainy days.

I'd love to be able to take more blips of dark clouds over the mountains, but for now, you're stuck with the beauty I see every day.
