it is definitely coming back to stay.
i can feel it in the air now.

the scent it carries is drastically different from what i'm used to in the winter --
while during the winter, since snow covers up nature's works, car exhaust and street smells are more vibrant,
spring brings the smell of soil, rain, and new plants rooting up from their slumber spots deep in the ground.
as drastic as the contrast may be, though, it is a familiar smell, one that i've grown to love.
