lacking a title that fits both the shot and the day, so ith. hahaha.

it's another beautifully sunny (and windy!) day, spring's just getting closer and closer...
we had a half day due to parent-teacher conferences, so there was a lot of sun-time available. thus, after watching some friends make a battery for a chem lab, i had lunch with one of them and then hung out at a nearby park afterwards, walking to each of our destinations (because we lack cars and licenses booo. i WILL get mine by this summer...hopefully....).
it was nice just to be able to walk everywhere, and hang out with him at the park; we usually tend to go there, haha. it's been a while.
......it kind of sucks that my new flats ripped apart my feet, though.
both my heels are completely totaled, while one is bleeding as well....this isn't supposed to happen, is it..?

anyway.
afterwards, i went to meet up with an upperclassman friend (she goes to yale! but because of that i haven't seen her for years haha) and others at the mall. we chatted and caught up with each other, all the while exploring the shops -- i sneaked in this shot during our escapade around anthropologie. the store is so artsy!
unfortunately, i had to leave early because my friend needed a ride back to the school for volunteering purposes. during the car ride, though, we talked about colleges and fantasized about our senior summer trips and possibly ending up in the same university -- how exciting would that be. best friends watching each other flourish and develop our careers. it makes me smile just thinking about it.

it's been a great, relaxing day overall; it makes me look forward to spring break.
it could not come any sooner.
