Almost spring!

This cardinal caught my eye. How could he not attract attention, perched so jauntily on the broken tree snag? Today was an almost spring day in the park...almost spring by the calendar and almost spring by the sunny-blue-sky weather that invited lots and lots of people out to enjoy this promise of things to come. We know there will be some more chilly, rainy days, and even some snowflakes, but today was glorious...a gift. After the long, cold, and snowy winter, why wouldn't we be thankful for a day like this?
