More Spring

A good walk today to check on the progress of the Storks and generally enjoy being out in the fresh air. There were some good potential blips all day but I've settled for these. They're called Firebugs (as far as I can find out) and sometimes called cotton stainers. I think the markings are pretty.

Night out in Frankfurt was very good. An excellent Indian meal with K+V and then a trip to the pictures. Thoroughly entertaining and thank you very much to both of them. And I think it must say something about you if you say "Pictures" rather than "Cinema". Like whether you say "Film" or "Fillum". I'm not sure there's a great deal of enlightenment dependent on figuring out what that is though, so we'll leave it there.

On the way to Frankfurt we saw something rather disturbing. A car had broken down on the autobahn. Not particularly exciting you may think but it had broken down (in the lane where people do the 200 kph driving) because it's bonnet had blown up and over the windscreen. I can imagine that being a very unpleasant wait for;- 1. to come to a safe stop and 2. no-one to run into the back of you at 180 kph.
