Schierstein To Eltville

And back again is a great walk. Even on a Sunday afternoon when every one else has the same idea. I like it because it's near water, I really like walking beside rivers. Always have.

Today's Blip put me in mind of that Simpson's clip with the world's first 2 Storey Outhouse. I suspect that the chicks of the stork on the lower level are going to be mighty unhappy sometime soon. I've blipped the storks at the top of the chimney in Schierstein before but I hadn't gone on into the rest of the nesting area. I suspect there will be more blips from here. It's pretty amazing.

In other news, we went for dinner after the walk and on the menu was a local delicacy called "Handkäse mit Musik" which translates literally as Hand Cheese with Music. The hand cheese is an artisan cheese and the music is the name for the accompanying sauce - although I have it on good authority that the musik is what you play on the botty kazoo after you've eaten it. I ate something else.
