Lichen

I really liked the colour of this and I like how the Lichen shows itsself - it really does look like both Fungus and Alga. Plenty pretty.

Had my first Lektion at the Integration Course last night. Let's just say that I wasn't stretched. Ich wohne in W.... is not tough. It's a bigger class than I expected (21 of us) and fair old geographic spread - Algeria, Turkey, Spain, Portugal, Russia, America and me. It will be interesting (for me) to see how it develops.

Today was marked by my attempt at trying to talk to my bank in Britain. They wrote to me (here in Germany) saying they coudln't process the change of address because (and here, it depends on what letter you read). They sent me two letters. Both unsigned (and no contact name either). Same reference on each letter. The first said I need the signature of my co-account holder - I don't have a co-account holder on that account. The second said my signature was wrong. Really? Why are you writing to me?

So I phoned Britain and spent half an hour talking to a very reasonable chap called Steven. At the end of the half hour, it turns out that I have to send them a change of address form. Gosh. That sounds Brilliant. Wish I'd thought of that.

I think the chances of this working (this will be my fourth attempt in total) are slim. If I have to go back to Scotland to sort this out I think that the director of Customer Services will be due a hoof in the swingers.
