Discgolf
Or to give it it's other equally improbable name Frolf. I discovered a few of these in the big park across from where I'm doing my training course. Apparently it's a bit like golf but you use a frisbee instead of clubs and a ball. And that'll be enough about that.
Day 4 of the course and I'm still hanging in there. It's all a bit odd though, this distance learning. The teacher is in Karlsruhe, me and my Mitschulerin are in Mainz, and the rest are in Berlin, Freiburg, Mannheim and Stuttgart. I don't say very much but that's because I'm forever flitting between Leo and the latest bit of text I'm trying to understand. I finished today's practical though (and with my class returning the right information). Always good to get the right results.
Yesterday's Song In German was Abba's Fernando. I would have liked to have started with the first line "Kannst du die Trommelm hören, <Parp>?" but I went for maximum Parpage. Here's today's attempt (ohne Parp):-
Mein Papi war ein Bankräuber
Aber er hat niemand wehgetan
Er liebte, so zu leben
Und er liebte, euer Geld zu stehlen
Mancher ist reich, mancher ist arm
So ist die Welt
Aber ich glaube nicht an faul sein
Und sagen wie viel Pech du hast
