My garden friend

Had some spare time this morning and the weather was good, slight cloud but bright, so I decided to try some of the manual settings on the camera.
I wandered round taking pics of flowers at different apertures, used the tiltable screen to get under the hellebores to capture the insides and tried different angles of the same things when I looked up and a robin was on the fence. So it was a quick zoom, still on f8, before he moved and this was the result.

thanks to walkingmarj for the advice. I knew the technical stuff 25 years ago but need refreshing, and how to apply it to the new camera is going to take time so any help is welcome (but not too much at once!
