Near Fairlie

At dinner last night Barking and I were invited down to Wanaka for a weekend of mountain biking and catching up with friends who I hadn't seen for two and half years. We thought that sounded like a great idea, it was time to test the van on it's first decent road trip since the bed conversion.

Friday was spent ringing around campsites to find a dog friendly one, no success until the last one Wanaka Outlet Motor Camp. This was a lucky find as a weekend of mountain biking with no access to a shower would have been very grim for Barking and Cousteau.

Loaded up the van after a busy day, and headed South. This blip was taken on the drive at a lookout point just before Fairlie.
