royGbiv : Leaves of Green

This year I thought I'd have a go,
At growing something green.
I popped some seeds into a pot,
I was feeling pretty keen.

I watered them well every day,
And put them in the sun.
A few days on I took a peek,
The growing had begun.

The seedlings popped above the dirt,
Looking for the light.
Each day they grow a little bigger,
Much to my delight.

With lots of love and loads of luck,
My basil leaves will grow.
Soon they will be big enough.
to top my pizza dough.

Day 3 : Yellow
