The Madonna Effect

Today I took lots of photos. I had a morning meeting in Corstorphine and thought my photo of the statue of Alan Breck & David Balfour may be quite topical. But the weather was so bad that I thought that some photos of all the streets strewn with discarded christmas trees and out-of-control wheelie bins may be interesting.

However as the weather here now seems to be like this every day, I could take photos of the devastation another time. I thought that this may be a unique blip. This is the magazine table in a medical surgery waiting room. Why is there rosary beads in amongst the People's Friend magazines (People's Friend doesn't seem to have it's own website!).
