This is a tin which bears the legend 'Dream Holiday Fund'.

It's a sealed tin which should contain lots of money to start a holiday fund. I've given it a shake - it doesn't make a lot of noise! A couple of years ago we saved £2 coins. It started off as fun and ended as quite an obsession. An obsession with a very happy ending as the tin contained well over £200.

A Dream Holiday?? Ummm - at the moment any holiday would be good.
Where would I like to go? A Spanish speaking country would be good. I miss learning Spanish - fue muy diveritido. It was fun.

Four years ago we went to Spain with Granny. That was a brilliant holiday - an 81year old, 39year old and a 10year old yet we all got along so well and laughed and joked the whole time. Many happy memories and as S later described it - a family bonding experience.

Meanwhile - it's back to saving the pennies and dreaming!
