Busy Little Bee

I actually set out this afternoon to take some photos of the cherry blossom trees which are now in full flower, but ended up with something that has come out so much better than I could have hoped

While shooting the flowers with my macro lens I happened upon a couple of bumble bees and managed to get off a couple of shots - this is one o them

I have darkened and blurred the background a little just to make sure the bee stood out - but the rest of it is just as the camera caught it. Luckily the very white flowers of the cherry blossom make a really good backdrop.

Outside it seems like spring has finally managed to get here, along with the clocks going forward again.
