Snags Still...

I was working from home today as I had to wait for a couple of guys to fix a few things around the house. The first guy turned up at 8.30 sharp to repair the water damage on the ceiling from the leaky window bay. Because it was so bad, he had to take quite a bit of the old paint and plaster off and fill it back in. This meant that it had to be left to dry, so the painting needs to me done the next day.

The other guy turned up about 12, we needed a kitchen cupboard door replaced. He took the old one off, went to his van. He then came back and told me someones order the wrong one! The one he had in his van had the handle holes drilled on the left hand side of the door. The one I needed had the handle on the right hand side.

This means its another Barratts screw up! Its not the first, or even the second! An example:-

We had a number of panes of glass replaced back a few months ago. Only some of them got done. A number of them were ordered in the:- wrong size, the wrong design or simple missed off the list completely. We're still waiting to hear on this front!

The kitchen door was apparently ordered back in December... so may be another 3 months before they come back again with another one?
