UH OH

Spring must really be here, because I went outside and noticed a few of these in our lawn. They seemingly "sprung" up overnight, as I don't remember them from yesterday! Well, they are a nice yellow. Dandelions are kind of an interesting weed and provides fun for little kids. They can pick a nice bouquet for mommy and then later on, pucker up and watch the seeds fly away.

The greens are edible, although I have never tried them. I knew a nice Greek woman once who had her special place that she and her family went when the dandelions were like this, fresh and new. They picked the greens and used them. If the price of lettuce keeps going up, I may have to do that too!!
