Persistence Pays

Rosie is so right that if you keep on long enough, in spite of any obstacles, everything will work out just fine. She has her eye on the goal, and nothing sways her. And she will not be ignored or placated.

So I did get up from my very comfortable sofa, cushions and blankets and she was played with and fed, and now she is a very happy Rosie! Job done. No analysis, or discussion, just contendedness.

Don't get me wrong, we don't always serve her immediately or with good grace, but she always does manage to get what she needs from us...and more, and she is always content with that.

In my next life, I would like to be a cat please. And in the meantime, I think I need to start counting my blessings and tapping into some contentedness.
