Going Into The Light
These are the little tomato plants (and a couple of Nasturtiums) that are destined to supply us through the summer (provided that Moot doesn't decide to water the plants in his oh-so-special way). I like the Heliotropic nature of (some) plants - it's like they're all trying to see something out the window.
In other news, my Bank called me today and they have very kindly agreed to change my address to the one where I now live... provided I fill in the form that they're going to send me and then in about 2 weeks, everything will be be sorted and isn't that brilliant?
It was here that I utilised my Secret Phone Tourette's defence. On the nearest piece of paper, write down all the Bad Words that you want to shout and then just pass it over the mouthpiece. The Unfortunate Soul at the other end knows nothing about it, you feel slightly better and you don't ruin both your days with an outpouring of rage. It changes nothing but really, I'm past caring - I get the feeling that if I even hinted that I'm still not happy then we'd be playing "and here's the next form" for the next six months.
I should have known better when I did a bit of research into - let's make them anonymous - BloydsTSL and found a quote from their director of Customer Services (about the 1000 complaints a day they're getting) that read "if we strip out the complaints about PPI & Customer Service then we actually have a decrease in the number of complaints". I'll try to use that defence in future - "Yeah but if you take out the mistakes in my work, everything was perfect". There's a word for that and it rhymes with "white".
I'm off to Schule again now. I shall enjoy that. Who knows, I may learn something new.
