The Junior Year Prank

Junior year in College, several of us snuck into two of the men's bathrooms in the wee hours of the morning and Saran (plastic) wrapped the toilets.

That entailed lifting the seat and stretching the plastic tightly from one side to the other so as to make it virtually invisible and then lowering the seat. The Saran brand was especially good for that because of it's clinging property!

In the mid-seventies, the dorms didn't have co-ed bathrooms so there was no chance that any of the women would fall for the prank. And the men knew that there would be no women using the toilets. We figured that the men, being the lazy sods that they are, weren't going to bother to lift the toilet seats.

At least three of them didn't. It was fun hearing them send unsuspecting friends to suffer the same fate that befell them.

The old college days were great fun on April Fool's Day.
