Hitchin win the League (big hugs)

What a day - so much to blip and only one photo allowed.

The big event today was the final match of the season Hitchin v Saracens. Hitchin are undefeated, Sarracens have had only one defeat but have more bonus points.

So this was the last match of the season for both these teams and the winners become the league champions.

It was a good match, very evenly balanced, well supported by family and friends, parents and grandparents. The nerves amongst the spectators became increasingly frazzled as the time ticked by. A two point lead was finally established by Hitchin with 90 seconds to go.

Those last 90 seconds were the longest hour I've ever known.

The camaraderie at the end was a real treat to witness. Lots of happy bunnies.

Other stuff today was Mothers Day stuff the boys getting gifts and flowers for Mrs W. so that she was a happy bunny.

Hugo scored a hat trick in his football match to win 10 - 1. So he was a happy bunny.

All in all a good day.
