Tropical Sunset

Well, this isn't exactly the tropics...it's arid southern Arizona. This was last night's sunset.

You might think it was the tropics because of the record shattering temperatures we've been having the last few days. Ninety-five degrees for a couple of days in a row. The average for this time of year is about seventy-seven.

This has been the rare occasion lately that I have been able to catch a few clouds in the sky. This time of year, we have beautiful pristine blue skies. Come late in June and July...monsoon season and there will be a plethora of clouds and storms and lightening.

For now, it's only a roll of the dice.
