Camelia

This plant was a birthday gift from some colleagues - 9 years ago now, and has survived moderate neglect in a pot, as the garden soil is too alkaline for it. It originally flowered in February - I suspect forced, but it seems to bloom later every year. Amazing that something so delicate and exotic-looking has survived even the harshest of winters.
