Stalking Storks

Today's lovely (and I do think it is lovely) tune is this. It's from a cracking film called Raincoat.

Today has been a good day. Although it started way too early at Moot O'Clock (that's an hour before Stupid O'Clock) - still, he always looks so pleased to have someone to meow at that it's difficult to be annoyed at him.

The haircut plan was abandoned for today and other shopping was on the agenda - pretty flowers and herbs for the terrace and some fresh soil to plant out the tomatoes. We may need cloches to protect the trays from Moot and his "that looks like a brilliant place to have a pee" brain though. This shopping led to a partial food shop and that led to a little explore of how the storks were doing.

I'm very pleased to report that the storks are thriving. And we can expect storklets judging by some of the libidinous behaviour on display. Honestly. And I have to pay a repeat visit to get closer to a pylon that appears to have 5 nests on it. 5 by George. I did attempt a blip but it didn't wotk as the pylon was about 500 metres away.

The stork above was on a little island with a Heron and they were taking it in turns to pose. If they had manage to stand together it would have been great. Of course, they didn't.
