Mad busy day tackling some neglected areas on the homefront. Fortunately included the rest of the garden, that was being particularly shown up by the pristine lawn, so could enjoy the sun. Called a halt to grab lunch in the garden and found it was too hot to read so put the book to other good use instead.

Can happily report an unexpected bonus of the lawn / carpet is the use of beanbags and cushions outside.

Off to bedlam of school cake sale, after school activities then a very welcome dinner out with a friend and no doubt a glass or two of something chilled and refreshing.
