My mate

A couple of times recently people have referred to the Marmite situation/syndrome. It seems to be slowly seeping in as an English phrase for situations that split opinion. I'm a big fan obviously but sad that this special edition pot that I got for Christmas from my generous mother in law is coming to an end. I am starting to ration it out a bit as there is a normal pot on the shelf too. Looking forward to more special ones. There was a Guinness one, a Marstons one for the Ashes, a champagne one for lovers one February, so what could be next....
